EVOLENCE is a natural product that is able to mimic the natural properties of the collagen found in your skin. Therefore, although an allergic reaction is theoretically possible, it is extremely rare. Pre-testing is not a prerequisite to treatment with EVOLENCE. Patients with a history of hypersensitivity, particularly known allergies to collagen, should consult their doctor.
The treatment process is the same as for other dermal fillers with the EVOLENCE introduced via needle just below the skin surface. The treatment should only take between 30 and 60 minutes, and the results are visible immediately.
